You don't have to be very righteous to see what's wrong with Chicongo. If your group doesn't have a problem with it, that says more about your group than those who point out that it's objectionable.
Hypocrisy would be insisting you can vote for flawed people (Trump) with flawed platforms (spend, spend spend) without endorsing everything the say/do, then turning around and saying that a vote is an unqualified endorsement.
So, if a hypocrite calls you a hypocrite, should you take offense?
Time is your friend. Impulse is your enemy. -John Bogle
Was tempted by this shirt this week.
My grandmother had always said I was related to him because he was her uncle or cousin or something like that. I've never tried seeing if there's any proof or anything, but it'd be cool if I were. It's been almost 10 years since she passed. Wish I could have spent even more time with her.
New ballots are made for ballots that cannot be scanned by the machine. Representatives for both parties agree on who the original ballot was marked for before making the new ballot. That has been the process for a long time. It is not controversial. 99.999% of the time, there is no dispute between the representatives as to who the original was marked for.
And this tidbit...
my nephew is an army attorney, and has just relocated to DC after two years in London. Some of you might recall my mentioning him several times over the years, such as he played football for Kansas State. His wife, Molly, took their oldest son to sign up for fall-ball (baseball) in the Virginia county they now reside in. She was told they required four....that's FOUR(4)!!!...proofs of residence/address, which she did not happen to have with her. As she was leaving the baseball office place she casually asked, "and how many documents of proof will I need to vote here?" Being the wife of an army officer, a major no less, in today's messed-up, "woke" world daring to ask such a question is frowned on. She was summoned to some army office after a complaint was filed against her for that comment. They mentioned some kind of counseling session...but she just walked out. My nephew tells us it's been a week and they have heard nothing more about it.
But, that's a very good question. If people are required to produce FOUR pieces of proof of residency just for baseball, how many are required for voting there?
The article was deliberately misleading. The article says this was the result of a human adjudication by a panel of people. Which is what I described - you have representatives of both parties determining voter intent for ballots that can’t be scanned.
Here is the original ballot in question:

Voter intent is clear here. If you look at every other race, the voter used check marks. And they voted Democrat everywhere. The check mark is by Biden. A scribble out is next to Trump. This is exactly why they do adjudication. You might call this “altering” a ballot, but really they created a new ballot and darkened the circles where the voter had check marks.
And now the California recall vote gets tainted. By--surprise, surprise--faulty mail-in ballots that shouldn't be used in the first place. This happened fast.

Looks like Newsome will win and stay in office.
But we are assured that this type of behavior doesn't take place..![]()
