Yep and I was typing that while you replied. Since I am at work it isn't a simple type and it hit post. So your post sat there for 2 minutes without me seeing it by the time I was able to hit post.
And it is still the simplest of wins for the new AD to reverse this poor policy, the fact they haven't reinforces the point that we make the simplest thing difficult.
Austin Kendall's father and brother were at my Tailgate party Saturday. Austin was indeed playing injured last Saturday. But it was from injuries sustained the week before. I'm not going to disclose more than that, but Kendall should be much better this week. I expect Kendall to play until Tech gets a comfortable lead over UNT, and then we'll see Aaron Allen the rest of the way.
By the way, Austin Kendall completed 24 of 39 passes for 351 yds and 4 passing TD's, and had 1 rushing TD. That's a great performance by any standard. He's now had a rushing TD in every game this season. I really hope Tech fans can appreciate what Kendall is doing.

Absolutely NOT. We need to QUIT MOVING SHIT! That student section has been there for decades, and it works GREAT. There's nothing wrong with the locations of the sudent section. Just get rid of the fricking cops standing there monitoring every move the students make. That's not called for at all.
I don't know what's happened at LA Tech recently, but there was FAR TOO MANY armed policemen at Saturday's game. I felt like I was attending a game between the Guards and the Prisoners in the Longest Yard. How about leave the fricking guns at home? That's just ridiculous.
Yeah, it looked bad on TV too. Gray shirts blend in with concrete & metal behind them.
I'm willing to give them a mulligan on that. That's the kind of thing that somebody ordering new shirts for the BOP could have reasonably been expected to overlook. So take a free "oops my bad" and dont use the gray tops again until bball season.
Have you considered those Dogs?
Please stop with the Bullshit. I went "in and out" of that parking lot at least 10 times Saturday morning (to pick up people) using the same RED parking pass. Those cops (of which I've already said there are too many) --and the students-- "standing guard" had no idea whether I was a giver to the program or not. All they knew was, I had a RED parking pass to get in and out. And I used it.
Some of you folks need to quit being a baby about tailgating and buck up. Make it work. My crew and I had a GREAT tailgating experience last Saturday. You can too, if you try.
Yes -- any parking pass (including red) gets you unlimited in-and-outs. If you have a parking pass (including red) that's how they know you give to the program.
That's like saying "All I showed them was my passport. But they have no idea whether I'm an American."
People without a parking pass are SOL after 8AM.
The issue is for those of us that tailgated on the hill surrounding the TAC. As those aren't dedicated tailgating spots, you don't get parking passes for tailgating there. We had a group of 20 that would regularly tailgate on the hill right beside the TAC sidewalk. To me, that shady area is the best area for tailgating. For my group, driving from Bastrop or Shreveport to setup the tents and grill by 8AM for a 6PM kick on a Saturday during hunting season was a no-go. Getting there by noon or 2PM would have been feasible. Ever since that season, I have dropped all season tickets and LTAC. I'll spend time at the house with my kids, parents and friends and maybe catch the game on TV.
Not sure what you think we are upset about. Unless you have a red or blue parking pass you can not enter from Tech Drive after 8:00am. You have a pass that you paid for. Most of us don't. All we've ever wanted or needed was to enter, unload, and leave the red or blue parking area. We were able to do that for years and years. Not now.
That's TOTALLY different. I don't see where it says Tailgaters have to have their Tailgates in place by 8 AM on game day? To the contrary, it says that cars that DON'T HAVE PASSES, have to be moved out of the parking lot by 8 AM on GAME DAY, which totally makes sense. If I've paid for a parking slot to Tailgate on game day, that just means any cars parked on that lot must be gone. What about that doesn't make sense to you? It says the Parking lots don't even open on Game Day until 8 AM.
Are you kidding me? Is this what you have been interpreting as a "nobody can get in after 8 AM" Tailgate policy on game day? Surely not? Is there more to this story than I can see here?
If not, this is much ado about nothing.
