I continue to be amazed at the people who don't realize how their opinions are being manipulated by the "mainstream" (are they 'mainstream'?) media. If the current administration can't even handle the softballs they've been tossed by this bunch...to the point that they hold a "summit" to help change the "tone" presented in the media...good grief, they would have never survived the environment that the last administration dealt with.
I can't even watch the White House Press briefings...after the way they behaved toward Arkansas' soon-to-be-Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and the way they behave toward Jen Psaki.

Looking like worst inflation since 1982. To be honest, I have been expecting some inflation ever since obummer's ill-conceived/ill-executed stimulus thingy back in...2009, I think it was. Through various programs the Fed has been printing money and dumping it into the economy for a decade+. Read an investment article, which is promoting gold and gold miners, that says the Fed has increased the money supply by 25% just in recent years. But, why is the inflation genie escaping the bottle now? The economy was sluggish for 8 years under obummer, but did grow some, like 1 1/2% annually. Then it exploded under Trump, and I expected inflation to show up during his term. But it didn't.

It was fully expected that eventually the economy would suffer inflationary pressure since all that printed money had to be absorbed before it would settle down again. Er, provided the goofy guvmint didn't double down on being stupid...yeah, right, don't hold your breath on that one.

In simplest terms, Tightened business and production regulations means less product on the market which means scarcity of every day goods which results in price hikes?
Can't ignore the US monetary policy since the financial meltdown. It's the perfect storm that won't be remedied until the FED completely reverses course. The supply chain woes are just giving us a glimpse of what is coming.
I didn't disagree with Trump on many things, but when he started pushing for negative interest rates I nearly blew a gasket. Thank goodness he did not prevail with that idea.
Now we need to hope the demented idiot in the WH now doesn't prevail with this stupid build back better scam. If we are counting on China Mitch to stop it, we're in big trouble.
I've got some good news and some bad news for the American taxpayer. The good news is that we are a few years away from having a die off in the Senate and House, with 10 Senators being AT LEAST 77 years old!!
