I would argue it is that still, especially for the black political class.
Why would a black politician vote against school choice except to make sure their constituents stay huddled together, living in substandard housing and dealing with high crime while collecting peanuts from those that claim to represent them? They are nothing but votes to the black political class.
When they figure out they are being sold out for a price that would have made a pre Civil War slave owner blush, they will make a giant leap towards a remedy for their woes.
IF the CPI number was bad, the PPI number is worse.
