The entire world is now stepping up against Putin. From Germany supplying 1,000 javelins and 500 stingers, to businesses and individuals refusing to do business with Russia and Russian entities. The Russian people will pay an economic price...for a spell. But they will recover and hopefully this will be a lesson to never allow a madman to be in charge again.

We, Americans, are paying a price for allowing the Bidenites to steal the 2020 election(s), but we too will recover and that should start in earnest once the GOP has control of Congress in January, 2023.

He isn't beat. It's going to get ugly over there, and Russia's MO is to attack civilians (babies and children are OK targets for their operations).

Just saw that this Russian build up started three months after the 2020 election was stolen by dem operatives. That means Biden, and his ship of fools, sat there and watched the Russians massing on Ukraine's border and did nothing. That would have been the time to ship weapons into the country and train the Ukrainians to use them....not after the fighting has already begun and the Russians almost have the Kiev choked off from the west.

Just in case you missed it, the build up of Russian troops started three months after Biden took office. Pretty telling.

Remember that it was the weakness of Obama/Biden that had Russia annexing Crimea in 2014. They are attacking what is left of Ukraine from Crimea today. Is there any question that the weakness of Biden (and Obama) have made all this possible for Russia?

Why aren't we stopping the flow of oil from Russia into the US? I don't want to pay for the killing of women and children at the hands of Putin and the Russian army. Why aren't we relaxing restrictions and drilling for our own oil? Please God help us through being led by a total idiot until we can return strength to the White House.

As far as the oil goes, consider this - if the US and Europe sanction Russian oil, oil prices go up. If other countries (China) are still willing to buy Russian oil, they will do so at higher prices. Same amount of oil at higher prices means that Russia makes more money, not less. Now if we can get everyone on board, including China, it would be very powerful sanction.

Turkey blocking passage of Russian warships trying to enter/leave the Black Sea. Turks making an exception if Russian ship is headed back to its homeport, a base on the Black Sea. Turkey is closely aligned with Russia, especially economically and does NOT want to get involved, if possible. Their laws require them to block passage of warships from belligerent nations at war, and the Turks have declared Russia is at war with Ukraine. A Turk foreign minister said, Putin might try to spin this as a "conflict", but we have seen war and know what it looks like.

My logic is not to take actions that result in Russia getting more money. If we can sanction oil and gas from Russia in a way that won’t cause that result I am 100% behind it. If the result of sanctions is oil prices go up and Russia still sells oil, but at higher price to others (like the Chinese), that would be a backfire.

Your “logic” about not caring about the potential counterproductive result of actions is what is mystifying.
