But I do agree with giving Ukraine planes, provided we can do it in a way that doesn’t drag NATO into the war.
Trump says we (NATO essentially) are supplying Ukraine with weapon systems, like javelins and stingers being used to DESTROY RUSSIAN VEHICLES And SHOOT DOWN RUSSIAN AIRCRAFT and Putin is not shooting off nukes, yet the notion of supplying planes is gonna start WWIII. An airplane is also just a weapons system...
I also agree with Sen. Tom Cotton, why are we allowing Putin to set the rules of engagement? He is the aggressor, the bad guy in this. Any type of concerted effort will cause the Russian campaign to collapse. 90% of the Russian soldiers don't want to be participating in this.

Destroying Russia's economy is more of an act of total war than supplying planes to the Ukrainians, because the planes would be used to stop Russia's military invasion where the sanctions and other economic measures are designed to destroy Russia itself. There is no logic in what they are saying.
