I think the total is much higher since local entities were chalking up as many deaths as possible to the virus to secure reimbursement. This, from the CDC, is an admission of over reporting based on an audit of their records. In MANY, MANY cases the CDC still has linked to the virus the information they received from various reporting agencies was bogus, but the CDC would not know which ones. Point is the REAL number of deaths caused by the China Virus is a lot lower, but only an extensive, nationwide audit of every hospital/agency would reveal the accurate number.
