Spent one day at Gettysburg National Military Park. Always a solemn experience.

The General Robert E. Lee monument is the only Southern one, of an individual, at the park. There are security cameras at the site and warning signs stating: Defacing monuments is a Felony Offense with a minimum $500 fine. There are no such cameras or warning signs at any of the Yankee monuments. And all the Southern state monuments are confined to Confederate Avenue along Seminary Ridge, even though Louisiana troops were not on Seminary Ridge but were at Cemetery Hill and Culp's Hill. They just want to confine the Southern monuments to one portion of the park.

Of course Lee's monument might be subject to vandalism, that's what they do. Thus the need for the security measures. Sad...

Gettysburg is hallowed ground. When CK3.2 and I visited there a few years ago, I felt completely unworthy to be walking on that ground. Those men were made of a very different stock than most of us today.

And it is black folks that are suffering. Normally those are the folks being murdered.

They are being dragged into a hole they'll never get out of. The racists are pointing everywhere and saying "look at the racism", when in fact they are using race (friggin skin pigment) to make sure that segment of the population stays beholden to some sort of fake narrative.

Kinda shocked me to see old Al Sharpton talking about limousine liberals (stupid white liberals....we know who they are) the other day. When the biggest racial-angst profiteer in the history of mankind finally sees a bit of truth, it makes me think there is some hope yet.

So convenient that every time a conservative asked a good question in a committee hearing, the topic is either outside the purview of the investigation or it isn’t a part of the job description. Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan are fed up. The head of cyber at FBI not being able to answer questions is like the tour guide at Cooperstown who can’t answer questions about Babe Ruth because he wasn’t the guy who originally enshrined The Great Bambino.
