Looks like some solid players on paper. I like the strategy of loading up on transfers to build something quick - maybe we can build it enough to attract some 4 year players from success on the field.
Completing 57 of 870 pass attempts for 6600 yards? Accuracy looks suspect, but completions must have been on the interstate.
116 yards per completion!

I'm gonna assume that's a typo missing a 0 on the pass completions lol.
Or it should read 53% of the attempts, even so that’s not very good, needs to be well over 60% completion rate
Depends on the passing game being utilized. If a majority of throws are under 15 yards, the percentage needs to be in the 65% range. If the majority are over 15 yards, then 55% would be pretty good as long as the interception rate is low. 1 pick every 45.8 throws is not bad.
You're just yanking my chain, ain't ya! But, okay, I have a few minutes to kill.
The article, as I recall, read something like: he completed 53 of 837 attempts (or whatever the number was). Now, completing only 53 of 837 is not very good. So, some of us surmised there was a misprint, with two possibilities 1) it should have read 530 of 837 passes completed OR!!!! I suggested, maybe it was meant to be he completed 53% of the 837 pass attempts The typo could have been neglecting the "%" sign. Now, that would translate into his completing 444 out of 837 passes. Which is a possibility.
I don't see, why you can't see "where that would come from."
(I just wasted several minutes of my time....)
Clearly??? Here's a copy and paste directly from the article
Headlining the offensive transfers is quarterback Hank Bachmeier who came to Tech by way of Boise State. Bachmeier started 25 games during his four seasons as a Bronco, completing 53 of his 870 passing attempts for 6,605 yards and 41 touchdowns
I had the attempts wrong (from memory) but it CLEARLY says 53 of....
