I hear Ruston High is pretty solid and stands to get better when the incoming freshman get a year under their belts.

No surprise in the loss, it just took a long time is all. Burroughs will brag on the make believe effort, but the truth is Tech can’t get base hits. A bigger shame is wasting Tomkins and Bates. If Burroughs hadn’t pulled Burchfield Tech would’ve had a hitter that could’ve made a difference earlier on. Tech is Tech though… find a way to lose.
