Would like this better if this was an area of need for Seattle. At least they did not draft a TE.
I can see Hebert being one of those surprise, "where did this guy come from?" type NFL receivers.
I agree, and I’m sure his agent and future positional coach will preach that. He’s got the explosiveness with his vert and broad numbers and the brut strength to work with considering his bench reps. Technique is key at this point!
Good thing is, if he doesn’t work out in Seattle, he will have multiple other opportunities with other teams. He’s just too big/fast/strong to be a one shot and done.
I really believe he will carve out a role somewhere and make a 53-man roster. He was a 200# D1 outside receiver that got swolle but kept his athleticism. That’s not normal.
IMO, underutilized his whole career at Tech.

One of the greatest catches ever. That play pretty much insured that Holtz would sideline him since this cost Holtz a loss to Southern Miss.
The Seahawks rookie mini camp begins May 12. They have 10 draft picks, 28 undrafted free agents, and a group of tryout players.
If Griffin gets past the rookie camp, the Seahawks have a team mini camp on June 6. If he makes it past that camp, training camp begins in late July.
It's obvious he's put a lot of work into this. I hope he makes it.
