In the simplest terms, Trump was good because my bowl of popped corn was full. Now, when I pop a bag for the game, it’s 2/3 full at best.

Really enjoyed his address (speech) last night. In 25 minutes he nailed a lot of what is wrong with this nation now. From that, intelligent people, those with their heads in the air, not buried up some libtard's butt, can extrapolate solutions, much needed. This country has one foot on a banana peel and the other foot dangling over an open grave. The Chicoms have seized upon our glaring weaknesses, thanks mostly to Sleepy Joe, and have built coalitions designed to push the US into a lower tier economically, politically, and militarily.
One pundit, Charlie Hurt, I think it was, suggested the only way to end this weaponization of "the law" is for GOP DAs, AGs, to stoop to the same low level of the Soro's backed evil scumbags and go after the Bidens, obummer, the Klintons, etc...maybe then more Americans will call for an end of this unlawful practice. Speaking of George Soros, there are currently 70 DAs across the country he has in his hip pocket. That number is down from a peak of 82 from a few years ago. Of the 12 now gone, about half were defeated in elections, and the others retired.
I hope/pray enough decent independents and conservative/moderate democrat voters will join the rest of we true patriots in supporting Trump in 2024. Now, more than ever, the free world needs Trump and we Americans need to send a clear message to the evil commie bastards and The Swamp (which included RINOs) that weaponization of the justice system will not be tolerated.
Charlie Hurt was right, but going after the ones he mentioned isn’t stopping IMO. It’s simply enforcing laws equally
George Soros is trying to distance himself from Alvin Bragg, saying he did not fund Bragg's campaign. But it was revealed that a PAC that is 90% funded by Soros contributed $1 million to Bragg's campaign. To which Soros says, well, he was not aware of that, and he had no direct tie to nor support for Alvin Bragg.
Let's take Soros at his word that he was not directly involved. So? I never thought Soros was micro-managing every dollar he contributes to evil politicians/organizations. But he KNOWS the general activity of the PACs he supports and the type of candidates they fund. Of course he does! They are just carrying out his edicts. Just like he is indirectly involved with, funding the Wagner Group. The latest incursion being in North Africa. He helped to fund the Wagner Group in Africa before too, in central Africa. No, George Soros is not sitting in front of bank of computers closely monitoring every place his money goes, every politician or evil organization his money funds. But he KNOWS the general impact of his financial support and he endorses it.
So, he can disavow any direct ties to Bragg, but his PAC made Bragg possible. BTW, if Soros now wants to save face and throws Bragg under the bus...adios Alvin Bragg. Not only is his political career over but he may be facing felony charges himself for the purposeful leaks of the grand jury's decision.
Trump surges into the lead in several polls. Went from 3 pts down to up by 7 in a direct contest with Biden. Pundits credit the Bragg mess, especially looking at the demographics where the biggest changes occurred. Still 18 months out, so expect more swings in the polls, including in the head-to-head Trump vs. Biden polls.
As we get closer to primary season and then next summer (2024) the polls will start to stabilize. The assumption being made now is it will be Trump vs. Biden. I think Trump is a given on our side, but not so sure Biden will be the Dem nominee. His health and some other factors (criminal charges) might cause him to get out of the race. So...Trump vs. a generic Democrap, who knows?
The idiot communist from California is a sure thing for the demoncrates.
If not for the MANY reasons Biden can't run again, the main one is that his idiot VP can't be kicked off the ticket due to woke BS.
Love President Trump! Have you seen any of his fake rape case depositions? He is killing it! LOL.

not sure how the above quote is endearing, but what about this quote from trump in an interview with the messenger:
“He has to do what he has to do,” Trump said when asked about Florida’s new abortion restrictions. “If you look at what DeSantis did, a lot of people don't even know if he knew what he was doing. But he signed six weeks, and many people within the pro-life movement feel that that was too harsh.”
anyone here got any idea who these "many people" are who are "pro-life", but also think a 6-week abortion ban is "too harsh"? i'm pretty sure trump is generally referring to his own opinion any time he mentions the opinion of "many people".
so, pro-life trump fans, what do you think?
The main reason Trump was so successful in his term is the people who surrounded him, IMO. He was the best man for the job at that time in history. I believe his time has past and he cannot face that fact. His ego and mouth with no filter are his biggest enemies. Although the "swamp" is very real and most of Congress are idiots, he still has to deal with them to get things accomplished. The dumbocraps absolutely hate him and will try every dirty trick to undermine his efforts. If he is selected to be the nominee, I will vote for him. I won't in the primary.
His ego and his mouth are nothing new and everyone has come to expect it. Nah, his biggest enemies are "The Swamp," which I am defining as all of those who want the status quo of corrupt, self-serving big government and the wealth-building opportunities that presents to those willing to partake. This, of course! includes the democraps, but also RINOs, and the whole bureaucracy of career "civil servants" who make huge salaries and are set for life with the benefits. The ONLY person out there who is truly anti-Swamp, who has a chance of being POTUS, is Donald Trump. I am anti-Swamp, but have NO CHANCE of becoming president...and there are others like me.
Recently a friend conveyed her thoughts on the whole national political scene, and I think she is representative of a great number of folks (voters). She admits that Trump "was" good for the country, but...and this is the rub...he is "not a nice person," and "what will he do for me as an older (she is 72), white woman?"I asked her if Trump, indeed any candidate, is supposed to spell out in detail what he will do for you, and each and every demographic category? She nodded yes, "that would help."
Trump "was" good for the country, but for some strange reason(s) he will not be again. To me, he is only "bad" for America's enemies, foreign and domestic.
He will be better the second time around, because he will not go into office believing any government organization is being managed for the good of America.
We need reforms in the worst way in all of our bureaucracies that have overstepped their boundaries and usurped power from where it rightfully belongs.
This country has been on a downward spiral since 9/11. The terrorists won.
