If you look at how devoid this team is of talent, that didn’t just happen in one year of Crummy. The last 3 years at Tech, Holtz recruiting class were complete garbage. We are a mid level FCS defense, and that’s being nice. That’s on Holtz.

I think some of y'all underestimate how little Holtz had to work with at Tech. The money just wasn't there for what was needed but he was very decent with making things work with less talent (and we were tremendous when we did have it).

I disagree. When you get outside of Louisiana, Tech is respected, seen as teams not to sleep on, ‘you better be ready “.

While we look at our athletics through a microscope, most of the country’s sports fans and potential students see Tech as a good school with many athletes who have gone pro. It’s a place for opportunity; think Amik, and even our QB1.

Yeah we were never at laughing stock level. We were a tam that was able to show up against big schools but just didn't have enough to get over them and for seven straight years we were a bowl team and one that was winning.
