I didn't watch yesterday's game on TV because I was scheduled to be elsewhere. But a good friend of mine from this board said that he was watching the game and during yesterday's game broadcast that Malcolm and Teddy BOTH said they "sure hope that Sonny is back next season", because "a guy needs more than 2 seasons to install his culture".

That's a hard quote from someone on this board.

I guess they are referring to Sonny's "losing culture"?

I haven't been keeping up with my Elo or Sagarin numbers. It's just been too depressing. But I got things updated today to answer this question somewhat objectively.



By this metric, we're not quite the worst we've ever been, but it's hard to compete with a fall this far, this fast. Next year we will certainly break our all-time low.

Updated the original chart with the latest result. This is the worst we've been. I guess I didn't anticipate just how badly we'd be beaten.

At least we're still above ulm, which is all our overlords care about. Maybe next year that will change also.

‘Being nice” to each other while the ship sinks seems to be the priority. How about serving the legions of fans/alumni who remember what it’s like to field teams that other teams RESPECT and dare not sleep on.

I know it won’t happen because he’s an alum and is a schmoozer, but please Tech, get a color commentator with at least some enthusiasm in their delivery. Teddy’s deadpan, monotone is not doing it. He needs to move on to doing audiobook narration of textbooks.

Sad but true, Teddy thinks he’s some sort of side seat off-timing and unentertaining comic relief for the clown show on the sideline, Crazy Curly Cumbie. It would be funny if it wasn’t millions of dollars sad.

It only took 2 years to make us the laughing stock of football. What can he achieve in year 3? When you are dragging the bottom, there is no where else to go for a Cumbie team. They will never win!
