Hell no! Skip coasted the last 3 years, and people forget that. He's the reason LA Tech is in this situation now. Skip got his last 5-year contract extension and just quit doing anything. His last 2 years at LA Tech he was 8-14 (.363 winning percentage).

You’ve been there, you’ve seen the underachieving pitching coaching that’s gone on, the non existent pitcher development and you’ve seen the stupid pitch calling that Tech does, so even though I know you’re being sarcastic… No, there’s no way that Fouts should be let anywhere near the football team. As bad as it already is he’s one who’d make it worse.
I’d rather he coasted and we saved money. 2020-2021 was not a good couple of years for anyone.

Hogdawg is including the covid season where we lost a month of games, took an extra money game, had several winnable games cancelled, and had injury issues and still made a bowl game.
Whatever. We sucked in 2020. Stop acting like all the bowl games were a big deal, but especially the bogus 2020 bowl game. Holtz quit while on the job. He was horrible to work with and for. He was a turd.
2020 did suck. It sucked for a lot of teams. We couldn’t even play a full schedule. Couldn’t recruit properly. Probably couldn’t practice properly either.
Most people would just forget 2020 even happened. In the end it had so many disruptions, it really didn’t matter. And yes that bowl game was kind of bogus, but that whole season was bogus. I’d say everyone was mentally checked-out by the end of the season, but with everything that was going on, they were probably not all able to mentally check-in in the first place.
Of course 2021 went how it went. I do not believe 2021 would have been so bad if 2020 had not been what it was.
Plenty of his former players defend him though, and they will take the time on Twitter to mention how pathetic things are now. They see what’s happening, and how sad and embarrassing it all is.

Yes. We got our asses smacked thirty-something to 3 in a Louisiana Bowl game by somebody called Georgia Southern. It was obvious we didn't belong. Just another example of embarrassment and humiliation for this program.
