If Crummy remains, and he probably will given the empty suits in charge, then we are looking at the real possibility of an 0-12 season next year. The only hope for a win or two would be playing other crappy teams in the same boat, stuck with a loser, clueless coach like us. So, with some luck 2-10 might be possible. Think that's a ridiculous possibility? Ahem...we'll be coming off back-to-back 3-9 seasons under Crummy. Not much of a reach, or a fall, to 0-12 thru 2-10.
Tech Football is dead.
Not to defend our current HC, but football was dead in 2020 when the the wokesters decided to change the rules for the haves and have nots. Our leadership was not prepared for those changes and they still aren't. Honestly I don't see us ever being competitive in FBS football when our leadership refuses to promote stipends and/or NIL. I lost interest with all the McLelland/Holtz crap. Not sure I'll ever be back unless baseball keeps me hooked. I'm not hearing positives about our baseball pitching staff at this point, but will give it one more year.Originally Posted by dawg80
He is pretty much the worst coach in our history record and skill wise and this is against much weaker schedules on the whole compared to any of the previous coaches. CUSA v45.0 is bad and he can't beat anyone in it.
I don’t see us keeping very many of our decent commits and the portal is gonna be full of our good players. I think we find a way to go 3-9 again though.

Odds are that our conference mates get raided as well. Keeping the playing field level for us peons

Might be good for 1 more loss for us. We could be bad enough not to win a game. However, even SFA has 2 wins. That will be us next season.
Don't worry about it. We don't have any decent recruits this year, just a bunch of guys with no other offers so they don't have any other choice but to sign with us!
We've already lost a couple of guys. I doubt our coaches even know yet.
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised at all, but it probably doesn't matter in the big picture. This staff is recruiting at the lowest level I can ever remember since the Bicknell days when he knew it was over.
