Wild stat here. We lost while committing ZERO turnovers. I’ve never heard of that.
We gave up 56% from three and 54% from the field and should have won. I like this team, but that is peak Tech

St. Louis' FG% and 3PT% was way above their average for the season (43.66% and 37.89%) and was above the average for the team leading in FG% (Kansas 52.73%) and way above the team leading in 3PT% (Wyoming 43.29%) this season. And it wasn't as if Tech was not playing aggressive defense. They were - 3 blocks and 5 steals. Tech always seems to bring out the best in their opponents.
The loss hurt, but I think Tech could be very good this year. On to the next game.
yeah, i only saw the second half, but it's not like they had a lot of open looks. there were a few, especially when they used that hip-check screen, but they were making a lot of contested long jump shots.
