I feel it every single time one of Tech’s teams like baseball 2023, football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball for years have been underachievers. There’s also the beneath miserable fan experiences that Wood has cemented in place with his lazy not caring attitude to things.
”Attitude reflect leadership”. AD Wood has been a reflection of the past and current leadership at La Tech. Someone please name the last AD or Coach this board has strongly supported. My interactions with Eric have always been positive. He was hired in 2020….Covid year, NIL, and transfer portal have all happened on his watch and are things outside of his control.
Ole Miss went after, and got, the best stadium power washer in the nation. What a steal!

I was not a fan of Wood or McClelland on the athletic admin side - good fund raisers, Wood was a little bit more of a people person than McClelland but that's not saying much
And before folks pull out the pizza to student student - where was that last year? or the year before or the year before
He was in over his head from day one with operations - good seat wiper but couldn't keep concessions stocked or ticket operations running smoothly

Yep.. everything Tech has had to deal with has been felt by every other G5 and to a lesser extent most of the low hanging P5. Yet, we are being crushed on every level at every major sport by pretty much any team with a pulse. What was under his control hasn't been as impressive on the field as it reads in a press release.
