WKU lost last night. We are in sole position of 4th in the conference right now. It is going to be a tight finish between us and WKU for the 4 seed. They have 2 home games left and we will be on the road for our last 2. Sam Houston should be a win for us. MTSU will be very tough and is still undefeated in conference, but they only beat us by a few points at Tech. A miracle on the road is not out of the question.
Another big game for tournament seeding. Win and avoid the "play in." Win for the sake of winning!

We are better than SHSU and should win games like this, even on the road. Just 10 of 17 from the FT line, 58%. That is beyond horrible.
I keep thinking it would be a miracle to beat MTSU this year at their place, but we are playing MUCH better and they only beat us by a few points at home earlier this year. Did I read correctly that the game is at 9:30am??????? That is so strange...

We will start on Thursday in the quarterfinals agains Jacksonville State. If we win, we will likely face undefeated Middle Tenn. in the semifinals - if they beat UTEP or Sam Houston.
I think we "COULD" beat any team in the conference if we are playing well - EXCEPT for Middle Tenn., although we did take them to OT in Ruston. At their place, we got slaughtered. Hoping UTEP or Sam Houston pulls off a HUGE upset, but I doubt it. Brooke's teams are always the strongest in the last few weeks of regular conference play. Problem is that it takes too long and we finish middle of the pack - better than last, I guess. I just wish we played the first half of our games as well as we play in the last half. Middle Tennessee really should be ranked.
Anyone surprised by the classless comments from pigtails in the wake of the big fight? I'm not because I know her true nature, but some of you will find a way to excuse her disturbing comments. Glad ESPN blasted her big time and there are articles calling her out for being the bitch she is.
Now...back to basketball.
