Let her coach out her contarct then move on. We know what level of kids she brings in (not knocking them just stating she has had plenty of recruiting) and we see what we get. She runs a clean program and her teams plays some decent ball most of the time.
Her teams always improve as the season goes forward. I hope she can figure out a way to match those wins early in the season to help get us better seeding. The fact that they are a very cohesive and better team come tournament time is due to her coaching. Recruiting is part of that, though. Love the 2 freshmen guards. We need a big to replace Roberson, though. Wurm needs to put on some muscle and improve in in her offense. Love the block shots from her, though.Originally Posted by DallasDog
Thats part of my point. Its rinse and repeat every year, and nothing changes. She has had time to build something. She doesn't turn over enough of the team every year, for them to start crappy and end average every time. Somewhere along the way they should start average and be good at the end. The schedules in recent years aren't that strong either. Lets be honest about that. It simply time to thank her for stabilizing the program and to move on.

Expectations (requirement!) should be lofty if another season with same leadership is coming. Some of our recent conference mates made remarkable turnarounds this season over last. We should expect this too.

MARSHALL WBB 23-24 26-6 overall with 17-1 Sun Belt regular season champions
22-23 season 17-14 overall with 9-9 Sun Belt regular season
We've been waiting eight years under the current leadership for this type season and improvement. Still waiting.
Regulars coming back in 24-25 at guard we'll have two starting guards (Lee and Nativi) plus two all-conference freshmen (Morris and Guillory) plus part time starter Bukvic. Forwards Brannon and Thompson, Wurm at center. Definitely MUST have a starting big who can contribute immediately.

In her first year! Making less money and not saddled with a husband co-head coach who I can’t tell does much of anything.
Oh he does plenty - from what I can tell he contols who is on the court and when. I've noticed he is really good at pulling personel off the court at exactly the wrong time. That is if someone is hot and hitting buckets, blocking shots, or making rebounds they get benched and replaced by someone that can't rebound, doesn't shoot worth a darn but is great at commiting turnovers.
