Disappointing effort, but not totally unexpected. Today is another day, Go Dawgs!
I thought I heard that Comeaux’s natural position is 3rd base so play him there, bench Safford and put Evans at 1st. I hate it that Evans isn’t getting to play anymore. There was a time last year when he showed a lot of promise and then for some reason he got benched.

Then LB starts coaching...calls a hit and run with his worst contact hitter at plate. Suddenly two outs instead of one at worst.
Burroughs destroys Comeaux on the bases getting him thrown out running to 2nd while Safford strikes out. Either bunt Safford or sit him.
Caught a break on the road. Nice to get one. Hope we take advantage of it after over coaching in T of 2nd.
The runner to 1st may get thrown out. He looked like he tried to step on Comeaux's bag foot.
For those not watching the runner was out by a full step, so it wasn't close. LB was not upset with the decision to review so I think they may have looked to see if the step on Comeaux's foot was intentional. Whatever, it was a big nothing with the runner being called out.
Nichols has done his job tonight. Time for the offense to put a couple of more runs up.
Tech needs to get something going to score some more runs.

Tech can’t get a quality hit in back to back innings with runners on 2nd and 3rd.
Good hitters have runners in scoring position, but can't get the hits. McConnell in last inning with three on and Furr this inning with men on 2nd and 3rd.
