I'll be honest, i was surprised at trump's restraint and at biden's sharpness. that's how low my expectations were. even so, nearly everything that came out of trump's mouth was an extreme exaggeration or childish name-calling, and nearly everything that came out of biden's mouth was a willful deception or childish name-calling. (maybe the parts i couldn't understand were the parts where he was actually trying to tell the truth? who knows?)
the best part was when trump managed to goad biden into that golf trash talk. it's brilliant, actually. people know trump is an immature braggart, but he always manages to drag his opponents down to his level. the result is revealing -- they're really no better; they're just better at pretending to be presidential.
Amos Moses, I'm of your mind. I could never personally like the man, or anyone else with his personality, but I did think he did a decent job the four years he was in office, especially considering the fact that so many of his own party were against him.
“Liking” the candidate has nothing to do with anything other than your personal emotions. This is a business decision not a class favorite contest

Wrong.....disliking a candidate could cause a vote for his opponent or staying home and not voting at all. I know politics is a contact sport, but being likable is a quality that will get votes from the undecided. Trump surrounded himself with very capable people that worked for the American public, not for themselves (with some exceptions). That is what made his tenure successful. He is a very good businessman that knows surrounding yourself with people smarter than themselves is the recipe for success.Originally Posted by PawDawg
Trump is quite remarkable. He is the living embodiment of a great line from the Rocky movies, Rocky said: it's not how hard you hit, it's about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward. You all know the crap he has taken and even you non-Trumpers have to admit he has weathered a barrage of attacks and he's about to win the presidency again. Not many people would still be standing, but he is. I really had no opinion of him, never really liked him, but never cared enough to waste even a minute thinking of him. Met and enjoyed a LONG conversation with Bill Rancic (first winner on The Apprentice) back in 2016 just a month before Trump announced his run for the WH. I came to have a different view of Trump...with a grain of salt...as Rancic raved about the "real" Trump, the businessman with an incredible intelligence and savvy, and an actual caring about other people's success. I did not vote "for" Trump in 2016, I really voted against Krooked Killary. But in 2020 and now in 2024 I am truly voting FOR Trump.
It's THE BORDER folks.

Don’t underestimate the battle of good versus evil that’s on display between these political parties. The Democrats are far more anti Christ than the Republicans and that’s all that matters. Throughout history God’s warriors have not always been saintly people. Trump is incredibly thick skinned, resilient and a counter puncher because the Left are relentless, ruthless and act outside of the law. If Trump doesn’t win the presidency we’re going to see an even greater perversion of humanity which like I said is anti Christ.
Supreme Court is expected to release a ruling today on presidential immunity. I don't think POTUSs should have blanket immunity. Bill Clinton committed treason, obummer sold machineguns to Mexican cartels, and the Biden crime family, and Joe himself, are guilty of multiple crimes. This ruling will have an immediate impact on Trump, but he is not guilty of any real crimes, they are all bogus, and will be either overturned or dismissed in time.
Now that the ruling has been released, what about . . . former members of the US Senate who have sticky fingers with classified documents?

They should spend years in jail without formal charges.
