New Helmet design

Seeing lots of Jech shirts and other paraphernalia on various facebook posts. This doesn't look like just a one-off mistake.

They buy those decals in sheets. The decals are just really nice stickers that can withstand high impact. With a bye week, they should have plenty of time to flip those helmets.

Here is an Auburn equipment guy showing the outside helmet clean/decal process.

Yeah I know they buy them, and I helped a friend of mine who was a HS coach back in the day replace decals. The point was they wasted money on a crappy design and not having to waste more money we really don't have to purchase a bunch more of the State T to replace them. The joke was we could make some and they would look better than that.

Love the "bubble" letters. Need to bring those back to the TAC's floor.

It wasn’t visible on TV unless they zoomed in on a single player. I can imagine most non Tech (and many unknowing Tech fans) wondering WTH which is what happens when you allow artsy types to make marketing decisions. The only thing worse is that stupid flag State T that is also unrecognizable.

At the monthly lettermens breakfast last week Dr. Henderson said he was against messing with the traditional logo until he was told the <25 crowd loves the baby blue (not Columbia Blue which adidas doesn't provide) baseball throwback.
He added the helmet usage was a one-time deal.

Maybe what the <25 crowd thinks would matter if they showed up in big numbers to the games but they don’t.

The helmet usage is and has been used in EVERY lead up pic to our next game. Apparently he is not in control or he is a liar.
