This is a good thing for Tech. Nothing wakes up those who make the actual decisions at Tech like a successful ULM program. Congratulations to ULM on the big win last night.

Pounding those nails in just a little harder, I think.
Yep.
They hired a good coach and have found success in YEAR ONE!
Meanwhile, some in our “media” and fan boards keep gaslighting the fans by saying that Crumble just needs more time. Crumble was terrible year one and is still making those same dumb decisions in year 3!
ULM went from the worst program in FBS to a solid football team that’s bowl bound in ONE year.
Went to the game with my wife last night. Their defense is very, very good. The same team that put up 70 against UNC couldn’t do anything against ULM after the first quarter. There was one play that ULMs DT obliterated one of JMUs OL and got the sack. It just goes to show how one coach can make or break a program in short order.
It seems the "sleeping giant has awakened" poster from the past has seen his vision materialize at last. Congratulations to the Warhawks!!
You know it’s especially bad and sad when Jech fans are congratulating ULM. They deserve it though while Jech sucks so bad.
Good for them! We were the arrogant program for many years thinking we were somehow on another level. However, in “small-time” college athletics you are also one bad (or good) hire away from a change of fortunes.
My wife graduated from there. I bet I could get us season tickets next season and be greatly appreciated by those folks.
17 point underdogs at home...taking care of business and showing the naysayers what can be done. Congratulations.
NIL, COA, facilities and lack of funding doesn't appear to be an issue in Funroe right now
Solid hires and good solid one and two stars do make a difference
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Congrats to ULM. Great win last night. It will be interesting if he has a couple of decent seasons how long he stays around. The challenge with schools like ULM and Tech is holding on to BOTH players and coaches when they have success.
They are lured to bigger schools with more money and you're back to square one.
Been a while since I have visited here. Wanted to also say how great this new ULM coach is doing. USM has to have the worst FBS team in the country. We hired a real snake oil salesman as our head coach 4 years ago. We bought his spill hook, line and sinker. He has been a total disaster. As an old USM grad, I have seen USM and Tech win many games against big opponents. Now USM couldn't beat any FBS team. Our AD needs to go also. He brought us the person that has destroyed our football program. I hope your team has a good remainder of the season. Maybe a game between our teams can happen again when we both are fielding winning teams.
This.
ULM’s success is largely due to their AD hire (former Utah State AD). He made solid hires for the programs.
At our level, the AD has to be constantly scouting and investing in new and up and coming coaches looking to make a name for themselves at the next level. Or overlooked ones like Vincent. UAB fans are livid right now that they passed on Vincent for the worst QB ever to win a Super Bowl who can’t coach as well as Crumble cookie can.
The AD is a more important hire at our level than our coaches.
Guice hired two complete duds.
