RUSTON –*The Louisiana Tech football team will host the 1-4 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., returning to Joe Aillet Stadium for their first home Conference USA matchup. The game, which will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network, marks the first of four weekday games for LA Tech in October. Both the Bulldogs and the Blue Raiders come into tomorrow night's contest eying their first FBS win of the season.

The setup for this game doesn’t look particularly good for Jech with a more or less new QB starting and a new play-caller although the former play-caller didn’t have a clue, so there is that. Unfortunately I figure this to be a toss up game between winning or losing depending on if Jech can keep from making that all to common catastrophic mistake at the most critical time like they’ve become known for. Regardless of the actual winning team I think the score is going to be 27-23.

It just figures that Jech’s praised defense picks a shitty team for them not to show up. There’s pretty much no way that Jech wins a shoot out type of game when we barely average 3 scores per game.
