On defense Tech has 2 returning starters, 3 returners who can’t produce, 3 who have 2 years on the team who haven’t played, 5 players with 1 year who haven’t played and 11 new faces. Of the 11 new players 5 are starters. That equates to 11 players who have been at Tech going into at least their 2nd season who haven’t been developed under Burroughs’ system. That sucks!

If you had the sound off, you missed Teddy’s discussion of the battle between these teams in 1978, 47 years ago, when the current players’ parents probably weren’t born yet.

I was a student in the 80s. If an announcer then had started talking about particular baseball games played in the 30s, we would have thought he’d lost his mind.

I love Teddy, but that was comical.
