Maybe the loss of Batcho is the reason. Regardless, with 48 teams selected for the NIT, including San Jose State who is 15-19, and Tech is left out? Fire Hester. Tech's MBB has sunk to new lows when we can't even garner an NIT bid.
I think the Techsters will play in the WNIT. Any confirmation on that?

Speaking of the NIT, I can't decide if South Carolina and LSU declining bids was classy or a self-acknowledgement they would probably get they a$$ beat at some point during the tournament. And the $EC getting 14 bids to the NCAA tournament. I mean - really!!! There should be some beat-downs of SEC teams along the way. I'm hoping Liberty can pull a rabbit out of the hat for at least a round or two.
Makes me wonder how Tech would have fared this year under Eric Konkol. He has really been smelling up the place in Tulsa. If he doesn't get fired, Tulsa must like pain more than Tech.
Well, good thing Tech didn't promote Dusty May to head coach, look how that guy is fairing....
Tech played three teams that went to the Dance, all three were one-and-done, and Grand Canyon and Liberty were crushed. BTW, we were 2-2 against those teams. Memphis is the other.
