All four Louisiana constitutional amendments failed

Any comments on the failure of all four amendments? All four lost big, like 65-35%.

A George Soros' backed out-of-state organization funded a statewide Vote No campaign, especially on amendment 3, but to keep it simple, since those who lean toward anything Soros supports, tend to be simple-minded, the campaign was "Just vote no on all four."

Have you seen the demographics who did vote? More dems than registered Repubs and a rather heavy turnout, for just a 21% turnout, of blacks.

Our legislators did a horrible job of selling it. Do we have any real conservatives in Baton Rouge?

BTW, amendment 2 failed with 61% no. Trump won Louisiana with over 61%. Soros didn’t flip all the conservative voters in the state. The poorly written amendment and passing the cost to the parish government did that. Rural parishes were SOL.

There should be a law indicating that amendments can only be made during November voting. That way you at least get a decent turnout. I think doing it otherwise they are just trying to slip something in.

Ironically, Amendment 4 was designed to help alleviate some of the waste of money re: elections. But it failed too.
