I really don't know -

Newman was a good little guard - loss

Green really blossomed the last month of the season - big loss in my book, really consistent outside shooter

I felt Elkinton was misused most of the year - small loss

Ree was so hit and miss - mainly miss - not much of a loss

Blocker didn't show anything - no much of a loss

I would of liked to see the local kid finish here, be he seemed to stay in Hester's doghouse

Hester was very penal in his substitution pattern, instead of letting young players play through mistakes, he would bury them

I still think the problem is more what's at the end of the bench, than what's on the bench

Hester has brought in Herron and Anderson, I see. But the portal closes tomorrow, and I think we have maybe 6 players on the roster, something like that.

Well, JUCO signees and high school recruits can also be signed. Whoa! another brand-new team next year.

Getting more than a year or two out of a core group might be a thing of the past, and the better the team the more likely the players will get poached.

NCAA Transfer Portal Hits Record Numbers—Again

As of Monday, a total of 2,320 men’s basketball players have entered the 2025 transfer portal, according to Verbal Commits, about 11.3% more than last year’s number. The number can still increase before the portal, which opened March 24, closes Tuesday.

The number of athletes in the transfer portal represents more than 40% of the total men’s basketball players before the beginning of the 2024–2025 season (5,607). That pool, however, includes graduates, redshirts, and players without scholarships.
