Any win is a good win. But, whoa! we need to play better than this if we hope to even compete with the likes of WKU and DBU, especially. NMSU is playing well too. To say some of our guys were "shaky" on defense would be an understatement. In particular the circus that was Hawsey at 1st and Berch behind the plate. How many pass balls and simple drops did he have? But, both of those guys came up HUGE on offense, so...

It won't always be pretty, just win.

As for MTSU's TV announces, listening to that woman is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I am sorry, but women have no business doing this. Their whiny, high-pitched voices are annoying (and I am being kind). However, ole Jill, with what she says, and not the tone of that voice does a good job on the play-by-play. Much better than Teddy Allen...but then that ain't saying much, I know. Not once did she venture off on some STUPID tangent talking about Piggly Wiggly.

I think my ears are still bleeding from having to listen to that lady call the games. Her calling T. Berch's double and two-base error an "inside-the-park homerun" was ultimate proof she should not have that job.
