Yes, it is true. But it's aimed at only the tariffs meant for Canada. Trump is urging Senate Republicans to use their majority to pass a measure to keep the vote from even happening.

Eight GOP senators (and surprisingly our own RINO Cassidy is not among them) are balking at supporting the Trump budget plan which includes deep DOGE-inspired cuts to the federal budget.
As for Cassidy he knows he's in deep trouble even winning the GOP primary, so he is pretending to be more in line with the Trump agenda. But, it's only a political ploy aimed at trying to salvage his re-election bid.
As for the other 8 idiots, this is exactly what is wrong with the Republican Party and why I have NEVER been a part of it. Right now, I am registered as "No Party." As for their "concerns" this is the kind of thing you do behind closed doors. I know the Republicans are not like the zombie-like democraps who always march in lock step (goose stepping), but there are times when the Repubs need to pull together, circle the wagons, and stop aiding the enemy (democrap commies). This is one of those times.

Elon Musk's rants are just plain stupid. Is Musk really this stupid or is this just a ruse, a scheme cooked up by he and Trump to throw the Left off the trail? I can't believe Musk is so stupid, surely, he knows the difference between a reconciliation bill and the appropriation bills yet to come. And this bluff about supporting dem candidates...gimme a break. If Musk is really concerned about federal guvmint spending, as he is spouting off about, putting the dems back in charge will only make that worse.
As for the "Big Beautiful Bill" the "BBB" yeah, it lacks the spending cuts many of us want, but let's examine what is in it. First, it makes permanent Trump's tax cuts. Second, it funds the border wall and border security. STOP RIGHT THERE! If those two were all it did then that would be reason enough to pass the bill. But, there are other measures in it that are good, and it does provide for $1.6 trillion in federal guvmint spending cuts. Not nearly enough, but as those with brains are saying, this is not an appropriations bill and significant spending cuts can be dealt with in those.
Pass the BBB and stop being stupid, you GOPers.
