I personally don't care for the black uniforms. We have too many alternate uniforms. We need to stick to tradition more. Maybe the black is fitting though as it's like the program's funeral.

Because it's Halloween, under other circumstances I wouldn't mind this.

I wouldn't mind most uniform alts in isolation.

The fact that we're wearing a different uni every week and playing the same bad ball is why its a problem

Actually, I enjoyed the speech. It was rather good. He made some good points. For example" he said, "people who haven't watched you all year, will be watching you".


Our players need to know this stuff. They need to know who Coach Joe Aillet was. They need to hear speeches like this and be taught how to handle games like this on national TV. Sadly, I don't think they get to hear speeches like this from their head coach.

Okay, so I've already made my thoughts known that I'd rather win in brown paper sacks than lose in the best uniforms ever. And as far as black uniforms go, I'm more of a traditionalist in that I much prefer to stick with the traditional school colors. That said, if we ARE going to go with the black uniforms, I must admit that these do look pretty sweet as far as the concept is concerned.

Now for the cringe -- The video of the guys freaking out about these unis is definitely over the top embarrassing. They look cool and all, but come on guys -- at the end of the day, they're just uniforms. Gen Z at its finest. Lol

They get excited about a lot of things that old, distinguished, and disgruntled guys like you and Dawg80 don't get excited about. That's okay. I think the new Black helmets look great! The "Red T" in particular really pops off that black background helmet. Should look great on TV.

I’m ok with Tech going black especially if it helps the team to play meaner. For Halloween I want Crumbie to take off his costume and show us the Coach Clown under it all that he really is.
