that was painful to watch / listen to - no way Cumbie is our head coach next game? Certainly this loss is the final nail.

My initial reaction was the Football Gods must really hate Tech fans. But, upon reflection, I think those gods are trying to help us...help us get rid of Crummy. A win last night and tomorrow, in a grand announcement, moron Jim Henderson would be proudly handing Crummy a huge raise and a 10-year extension...with a large (by Tech standards) buyout. As it stands now, we still have a chance, albeit a small one, of ridding ourselves of the WORST COACH IN TECH FOOTBALL HISTORY!
The Liberty game is key. The road games at Wash State and Mo State are losses. Only that home game vs. Liberty remains a possible W. I can't bring myself to root against the Dawgs. But, if it needs to happen, well, then "may the Flames flame us too."

I wish our administration had the guts to give Cumbie the Brian Kelly treatment.

This is a football play

There are so many things that frustrate me about this game, but why did we not go for 2 after the pick 6?
1. Kicking an XP only puts us up 8, so we know WHEN (not if) they score, they are going for 2. We haven't been good on 2 point conversions, and if the fail to convert, we know they are going to attempt an onsides kick, which we suck at.
2. Going for 2, puts us up 9 if we make it, but still doesn't stop the scenario that played out. Which for most teams seams like a 1 in 10 chance, but for Jech, is about 1 in 4 how it played out.
3. Going for 2 and failing, we are still up 7. When they score, they KO and we go to OT.
That was NOT DPI. The refs screwed that call up. On 4th Down and 10, no less. If anything, the offensive receiver pushed our #7 back so the Blue Hen could catch the ball. The instant replay showed our #7 never touched him. The ball should have gone over to Tech on downs, and GAME OVER at that point.
This is the kind of stuff that makes my blood boil. How can LA Tech be so unlucky?

Ah, I figured it out
