Tulane can shoot FTs. They went 30 for 30 in one game this season. We can't shoot FTs to save our lives. So, if the zebras go whistle heavy, we're in big time trouble this game. Didn't know the all-time series is tied 2-2. Amazing that in 100 years or so we have played just 4 times.

Fogelman is a neat venue for the fan.

We struggle against division 1 schools.

Both teams shot 77% FT, they had 13 more attempts (made 10 more) and won by 8. Some ticky tack fouls, they were in the bonus about 5 minutes in 2nd half

Tulane hade 8 blocks to our 0 & 9 steals to 3.

We missed 3 layups and 2 chippy shots. There were also 5 or 6 contested shots, tough shots, but some of those have to fall if you're going to win games consistently. And Tulane had 8 swats too. It was defensive battle, both teams playing good defense. Of course, the home-cooking refs made sure to give Tulane an edge in the fouls being called and not called. Our bigs might have well had stayed on the bus, they contributed nothing. Never expected to see help come from the bench, and I didn't. Hester is clueless how to adjust to game situations. We play the same whether it is working...or not.
