That's two HUGE holes in our defense, the absences of Mason and Jacob Field. Well, actually, that is 4 holes in our defense. Ugh!

We were sitting in the "South Club" (which is almost identical to LA Tech's DAC facility, except the food & drinks are better) end zone suite yesterday at the game, and those black uniforms Tech was wearing with the white numbers looked fantastic! The numbers were VERY EASY TO SEE from a distance due to the contrast between black and white on the uni's.

On the other hand, Coastal Carolina's uniform's were terrible. Their "aqua" colored jerseys with white numbers, white helmets and white pants made it impossible to see a players' numbers in the bright sunshine from the South Club seats. Even one of the CC players' parents who was sitting near us told me right before kickoff that she hated CC's uni's.

So, some of ya'll can bitch about Tech's "black uniforms" if you want, but they look great from a distance, up close and on TV, so they are here to stay.
