Probably a good thing BBB cut out for me around halftime. Hard to watch at times but we pulled it out.
DEFENSE showed up in the 2nd half, the offense got less "offensive" and did enough to win. Congrats to the Dawgs (the players and probably a few of the coaches too).
The TV guy said Tech was the most penalized team in the nation (FBS) this year. That true? If not THE MOST we were surely close to it. That reeks of no coaching, no discipline. That has been Crummy's track record for 4 years and it shows no signs of ever getting better.
Tech is now 9-5-1 all time in bowls, 4-2-1 in the Indy Bowl.
So we are now tied with Ole Miss for the most wins in Independence Bowl history

And on a general note, football is in need of some rules tweaking. Two rules that need changing: 1) the stupid intentional grounding rule, and 2) what constitutes a catch.

I smell a contract extension and a raise coming for Cumbie. Oh well, glad to finally have a decent season and a bowl win.
As laughable as that is, you’re probably right. His bonus should be that he still has a job because he couldn’t be an assistant anywhere else.
