Has anyone seen or heard what the new uniforms are gonna look like? Major or minor changes?
One player told me they are the new style meaning much tighter fitting than the old style "loose fit" jerseys. He tried them on a few months ago when they were looking at ordering. Not sure about color scheme, etc.
I certainly hope the scheme doesn't change, now that we have finally developed some sort of identity with our blue and the UCLA stripes on the sleeves.Originally Posted by Gooddawg

I heard we were going to put in a pink stripe to pay homage to the Lady Techsters (all this per Dan Reneau's request of course).

That was a joke of course. Does anyone know where thats from?
Some of the players complained about how loose their jereys were. They said it was easier for the other team to grab on their jereys and make a tackle. I never played football but it makes sense for you jerseys to be tight as they can be.
Cotton breathes, you see, it's much softer. Imagine playing games and your team is five degrees cooler than the other team. Don't you think that would be an advantage? They're cooler, they're more comfortable...they're happier - they're gonna play better. You may be onto something here George...I think they are going with 100% cotton.
