Why no fans? Two names pop up in my mind. Reneau and Oaks. A leads B and A wants no part of a solid, big time program. Academics are his thing and you can't have both in his mind. B won't stir the pot, he's got a good job.
People on this board yip about the coaches and the players. They have nothing to work with. Tell me about big time recruits wanting to come to Ruston and play in front of 20,000 on a GOOD day. Tell me about big time coaches who want to attempt to build a program when the scholl won't even provide a training table for the players. Until someone who leads this University understands what a big time football program can do for it Louisiana Tech will remain precisely where it is: Mired in mediocrity with a few big wins here and there. And a few loyal fans wondering why we aren't going bowling.
