The head football coach at Louisiana Tech needs to be a work-a-holic. Vacations are secondary at this point in the history of the program. Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno can take their summers off.Originally Posted by DONW

Are they looking for a merketing director???? Local or nationwide? Hell I've got the resume, and I don't mind putting in for it.
All I know is this: the question needs to be addresssed of how can the same team and coaches that almost lost to Idaho win so impressively over Fresno? There has to be a reason for that........
Didn't he say all he was thinking about in Idaho was if this was the game that would do him in? Then he miraculously gets the Fresno game won and here we are again. What will it take for consistency?

all of those fresno turnovers sure helped.
Jay, I give a lot of credit to our defense and our defensive coaches. Just a couple of years ago we couldn't buy a turnover. This year we created them. There was an excellent TV shot of us ripping the ball away from a Fresno running back. You look at how many of the best teams in the nation win. I won't name them, but we all know one of them very well. They live off turnovers and special teams play.
Giving credit where credit is due, I have to say overall our defense and our defensive coaching was much improved this year. (Don't talk to me about Boise, I don't want to think about it.)
