I've got a Community Trust Bank ball that I caught from a game. I've also got a WAC ball. I don't think Citgo has any hold over throwing balls into the stands. Balls are cheap and easy to throw.

Yes, those are all sponsors, but obviously no one sponsor has a monopoly on ball throwing. However, I do understand the law of diminishing returns. I support throwing something else out, but I wouldn't completely rule out balls just because someone else does it. Besides, the community trust bank balls don't even have the tech logo on them.
