There are 3 teams from the same conference in the FF for the first time. North Carolina, Maryland, and Duke all represent the ACC. The only outcast is that school in Baton Rouge.

IF, North Carolina doesn't win it, there will be a new NC that has never won one.

I think I will be cheering for the teams in this order:

1. Maryland - under appreciated. However, they have a LOT of freshmen, so they will be back next year, regardless. I will cheer for them first, since they were ignored for most of the season due to playing second fiddle to North Carolina and Duke (two teams, by the way, that they beat once this year).

2. North Carolina - Even though, I still have a lot of anger from 1994 and it would be their second NC, I think they deserve to win it all. They have clearly been the best team all year. Besides, I like Latta a lot. They have not been back to the Final Four since 1994.

3. Duke - I just don't want to cheer for them. It would be their first NC, though. The only way I can cheer for them is if they are left standing against that other team below. OH, I have have to thank them for beating UConn in Conn. last night. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

4. OTHER - I will cheer for any team playing this last team. They do not need to win their first NC or we will never hear the end of it.

i was rooting for uconn to win so the acc would not get 3 in. i turned it off when they ended regulation tied. i didnt care that much.

who i hope wins:

1. maryland - i dont think they are gonna start any kind of dynasty

2. unc - at least we get some pub when they show the incident.

3. duke - i really hope they dont win

4. we would never hear the end.

Pulling for NC-LSU in championship with a NC win. Personally, that's what I have in my bbb bracket, and I think from what I've seen, that would make me the winner of the competition. For that reason only....

Tech was mentioned on SportsCenter this morning as being the only team to play an overtime game in the tourney and win the NC. Just another reason to root against Duke to win it all, not that I need anymore. I can allow them one more win.

I love the fact that UConn and Duke and lswho all had/have to go through each other to get to the NC. I just hope none of them are left standing. It is going to be a long long year if lswho wins this thing. That and the MBB FF would make it totally unbearable.

I am actually pulling for Duke to win the NC. I think it's their time. I don't like NC. Latta is a little bug, that needs to be squashed, and the main thing I hate about her, is the fact that she can back up all her shenanigans with great play. I don't like Brenda Frese, Tolliver or Doron. She flops more than Latta, I think. When there is a stoppage in play, she is always grimacing. If she is that hurt all the time, why is she playing ? I'm not gonna even comment on LSU, other than that comment. So, Duke is my choice.

I picked them in my bracket, but that is because, for fun, I had picked UNC-DUKE in the men's tourney game, and I thought, why not do the same for the girls?

What we ABSOLUTELY do not need is an LSU double-NC. I shudder just to think about it.

I'm married to a Maryland alum so we'll be rooting for the Terps. My Fear the Turtle shirt is ready to go.

I can't cheer for North Carolina because my heart was ripped out as I sat in the stands at the 94 championship. I'll NEVER cheer for them. And I can't cheer for Duke because I've decided after several years of watching her that Gail G is an idiot. She called time out last night with 8 seconds on the shot clock and like 30 seconds left on the game clock. What is that?

And LSU - I went there for grad school but I've never been able to make myself cheer for their women's basketball team.

So GO TURTLES!
