Bomar signs with Sam Houston State!?!

So I'm guessing that he can NEVER return to DivIA, right? Probably a dumb question....

Apparently, he still has three years of eligibility remaining. Do you think he is planning to play this year and then try to get drafted next year?

When Lukes brother (Josh) left SMU he went to SHSU. He played very well there and was drafted. I think Bomar was just trying to avoid sitting out a year and wanted to go to a school that would let him toss the ball around a lot.

Doesn't matter if he goes to a D1A or D1AA, both are governed by the NCAA and he will still have to apply for reinstatement from the NCAA to play. My guess is he won't play, I don't think the NCAA will reinstate him based of the fact that he grossly broke one of the most sacred NCAA rules, thou shalt not receive any monies not justly earned and will not exceed the preset amount that an NCAA student athlete can earn.

As of now SHS, just has a former HS all-american that can go get the coach some water.

I think the NCAA said that they will reinstate him but he will have to sit out a certain amount of games and pay back the $18,000? he recvd. from the car dealership. I can't remember where I heard that though.

There is no way they better let him back in. After they way they treated Mike Williams NAACP will be ALL over the NCAA.
