Tech ring on ebay!

Interesting find on ebay. There's a Tech 1978 Indy Bowl ring for sale on ebay. No, I'm not the guy selling it. I bid on it and have been outbid. I'm not bidding any higher so I thought I'd pass it along to you guys. Search for item # 290025957603

Warning: I really question its authenticity.

The following line was in the description: "I believe this was the last time LA Tech ever went to a Bowl Game."... While the location is set to West Monroe, Louisiana.

I may be wrong, but I would expect someone from North LA who would actually own an authentic 1978 Independance Bowl ring to know that we had since been bowling.

At the very least I would stop by the store to ask questions and check it out.

Seller probably claims to be a WM fan, but only goes to one game/yr. if the Rebs make it to the dome. Has an lsu flag and bumper sticker, but has never been to an lsu game. Attended, but never graduated from nlulm. Once had a pet pig that met an untimely death.
