I was just joking but i appreciate your sense of humor. BTW, did I ever tell you that I spent a year in SF in 1967-1968? Yeah, I use to go to the Fillmore quite often.:icon_wink:
The best place to trip was the Golden Gate park or the beach area near the Legion of Honor museum.
Mars Melt Hints at Solar, Not Human, Cause for Warming, Scientist Says

You sure state a lot of things as "fact" that leave a lot to the imagination. I suspect that before even old farts like us are gone (of natural causes, anyway) we will be hearing from the Church of Global Cooling and the impending New Ice Age, just as our top "climate experts" were saying 30 years ago.
This part of the article stood out to me. If your models are accurate, how could "things" be happening faster than exepected?"Things are happening and happening faster than we expected," said Patricia Romero Lankao of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado, one of the many co-authors of the new report.
That is the thing, Dirty. It can't be modeled accurately. That is why Billpup and others of his kind are having such a hard time with this. He is a hard formula, can't deviate from the proven fact, kind-of-guy. There is no history of this occurance at such a rapid pace and unproven concepts are foreign to him.
Today I could feel the effects of humans devastating our atmosphere, the sweat dripping off my body, if only it were cooler and we still lived nomadically as hunter/gatherers!
Global warming is not an "unproven" concept. If there were no global warming the average global temperature would be about 15F. What is going to happen because we are dumping huge amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere can be forecasted by atmospheric physics but there are a number of competing interactions that makes for a range of predictions. Since you are a scientist, I'm surprised you don't know this.
Blazing heat for march, I'm going to sue all the big manufacturers for making me sweat. I'll get the lawyers from the tobacco suits.
When going out to any major metro area..you generally see a brownish haze over the city (smog)...something just doesn't look natural about it. Doesn't surprise me humans are causing global warming.
Who knows what causes global warming...
I think going green and being environmentally friendly is a good thing.
the unproven concept is that man is causing it. sheesh, debate is much easier when one side does not continually forget what the point of contention is. as for the models, you are exactly right. and the range of predictions is so wide that no self-respecting scientist would ever advocate for their use as a basis for public policy.
p.s. i'm not a scientist, but i do play one on message boards...:icon_wink:
