Louisiana finally doing something for state athletic budgets

I believe that the BoR is quite content leaving things the way they are now. Since 90% of the members on BoR are LSU alumni, why should they change the current formula? Status quo has LSU in top 10 in nation pre season. It allowed them to win a national championship football title a few years back, basketball and baseball programs are competitive at a national level etc.

I would be really curious to find out how the ULM alum has voted in past on certain issues. I wonder if he/she played politics and voted along with the majority of the group, or did they ever speak up and dissent for all the "little guys" other than LSU?

I think the fact that the board is made up of so may lsu alums needs to be looked at. How in the world can a board that oversees all the universities no have representation from all the institutions? This is a fact that needs to see the light of day.

The FACT is that we need to be doing everything else in our power and not depending on this. I do not believe that this will pass, so the question is what else are we doing.
