And here is mine.
Reardon,
Bless your petty little heart. Do you hear anybody in the SEC whine because Vanderbilt or Mississippi State are dragging them down and keeping them out of the BCS? Is USC wailing because Stanford is holding the PAC-10 back? Is Texas weeping salty hot tears over the lack of success at Baylor and Iowa State? Do you hear any team in other conferences crying over teams in their conference keeping them from the BCS? No, my friend, you do not. Nor, should we hear it in the WAC. Did any team in the WAC keep Boise from a BCS bowl last year? I don't think so, Bubba. What will keep Hawaii from a BCS berth this year has nothing to do with their conference games. You might want to check with Hawaii's AD on this one. What will truly be detrimental to their success is that no one will consider a team with not one, but TWO I-AA games on their OOC schedule for the BCS. If they aren't careful over here, where they consistently play poorly, they may not even make it to their own little Hula Bowl this year.
It delights me that you consider LA Tech weak. I do hope the Rainbows come over here expecting last year's leftovers. It will be the most rude awakening they've ever received, I guarantee.
I would also like to ask you when you last visited Ruston, Louisiana? Have you ever been to Ruston? Have you ever even left your little island?
You might also keep in mind, Mr. Reardon, that the sun doesn't shine up the same dog's behind every day. Which mean, sir, teams have good years and teams have bad years and now just happens to be Hawaii's turn to shine, so they should enjoy it while it lasts. And while we had a bad year last year, it does not define our entire program's success and the sun will soon be shining on LA Tech. Then you are going to feel very foolish for making these ridiculous, petty and ill-informed comments about Louisiana Tech and Ruston, LA.
