Hawaii's WAC record is 55-53-2. A .509 winning percentage. This is against current membership.

They are 77-98-3 against current MWC teams for a .441 winning percentage.

I'm not ripping Hawaii. They have a very good program. Like I said they just need to take care of their own business before they worry about ours.

Hawai'i is very hard to beat on the island. I have read reports of those who say their homefield advantage is often stretched by the officiating. Heck, I watched a few games (Oregon State last year) where I thought the refs were cheating and I WAS GOING FOR HAWAII!!

Game, set, & match to BigDog.

You Techies are an onerous bunch of bottom feeders.
Must be why you like catfish so much.

I think the author of the article was reacting to buzz at the WAC conference. Dude gotta have something to put in the paper everyday.

I did see the BYU game. Damn, that was a good one.

    Aloha.

this is NOT intended to create conflict, it is just fact. while hawaii's late season schedule toughens up quite a bit, have you seen there first six games?
first they play northern colorado at home. then at louisiana tech, then at unlv (a true bottom feeder). back home for another 1AA team, charleston southern. then at idaho and home to utah state.

Sunday look at Tech's OOC schedule compared to Hawaii's OOC schedule. It's like comparing oranges and apples. If the OOC schedule's were swapped I bet you wouldn't be talking about BCS so prematurely.

thats what they all say. funny how most times these ref job accusations come on we have refs from different conferences. simple fact, we do not get refs to work for us. the only HFA we have is the travel.

hey, we didnt make the WAC schedule that way and our crappy ass AD couldnt get anyone to commit to a game after MSU backed out. a bunch of BCS teams backed out despite a lot of cash on the table and ESPN deals. so our crappy AD thought CSU and UNC were able replacements i would love to have a tougher schedule.

and what the hell does an old UTEP game matter? about as much as the 05 la tech game, which is to say, it doesnt matter at all. all that matters is the here and now.

That is exactly what we have been saying but some of your Hawaii guys don't see that. By "now" they include last year in that.

Well I don't have to have anyone tell me that I've seen some crappy officiating, one Tech player two rainbow thugs, Tech player punched in the face right in front of an official, no ejection. The list could go on and on but no need. Karma will take care of everything.

There are a lot of southern BCS teams that would love to have you come to their place. As for coming to the Island well that referee Karma has really made the Island a undesirable place. I bet that is why your athletic director is having a hard time finding worthy opponents. There is a lot of talk about cheap calls on the island from all over the country. Looks like your road to the BCS is at Auburn, Alabama, USC, Miami, ETC, ETC. I guarantee you that it won't be this year!(OOC Schedule)

actually what has really hurt hawaii is the addition of the 12th game. any team that travels to hawaii gets an extra home game. that used to be an added bonus to get a 12th game. nobody wants to play 13 games -- just ask our bulldogs from last year! :bigcry:

Lets not forget another homefield advantage that is making Hawaii a place teams don't want to travel. Some say passing works exceptionally while on the island (the ball just floats). Anyone else hear this?

you know, people complained, they brought their own refs, than they complained about the ref jobbing. even OSU fans complained when they won...

the reason our AD cant find opponents is because he started way too late and BCS team wont sign for a home and home, they want a one and done at their place so they dont have to take as big a risk. some teams even wouldnt play us at home, one and done.

and Juice752, who the hell told you that?

I really could care less about the refs, they need cops to control the thug players from UH.

I heard that too many times about Nevada back in 02,03 from Dave Nitz on the Radio! Yeah Luke kept on missing and missing, then Luke goes down and Max Causey came in and threw a perfect pass to set up the game winning field goal by Scobey.
