Didn't UL-Lafayette start a similar campaign...can't remember if it was a shirt or a bumpersticker or something...but it said, "If you love THEM so much, move to Baton Rouge! Lafayette is CAJUN country" or something like that...the campaign was highly effective i was told. If nothing else, it made the UL-L students more sensitive to the fact that wearing another in-state school's stuff is regarded by some as being stabbed in the back.

How about just getting the SGA to give you Blue tech t-shirts, when you see a student in LSU gear give them the blue t-shirt and say," you go to tech". Get more with honey than vinegar!

Go to a print shop and ask them to print you up a pad of Citations, listing the said offense and listing any other reasons why they should be wearing blue.
Write them up and hand them the ticket.

Just make a couple banners and hang them up. If the school won't let you hang them just get the group together (the Blue) walk around campus with the banner and stop and start laughing and pointing at anyone wearing those colors.

I like these but I am sure others have some really goog ones also.
Are you wearing purple & gold?

I still think the message of "SLAP IN THE FACE OF OUR TEAM" should be loud and clear. This needs to be a BIG push. Couldn't the Alumni Association get in on this and make it something big?

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Brookshires in Tyler. In the parking lot was a huge Semi. It was opened up on all sides and had Dallas Cowboys stuff all over it. The music was rocking and the crowd was gathering. THIS is what Tech needs to do. Go on a tour, but START with our campus.

Again, the STUDENTS need to hear it loud and clear about insulting the Tech team. For Christs sake, we PLAY lsu this year.

Wearing purple & gold makes you smell like corndogs.

Oh you could have fun with that at the football games. Every start of the 2nd quarter, you could have AG jr. with his sign, play "hunt the homer". He could go all around the East side, with a camera crew (this is where a jumbotron would help) hunt down the LSU homers, raise the sign up and have the crowd boo them. Then he could give them one of the "tickets" which would be like 50% off coupon for tech shirts at the bookstore. Have to let the students know so that they boo.

Great idea for one game. But the second game people would wear lspoo stuff just to get on the jumbotron. Remember, these are lspoo fans. They aren't very smart to begin with and they wouldn't care if you made fun of them.

So think of this way, there are students at other universities wearing Tech gear just like some of our own wearing theirs. Get over it. All I ask is that they buy a ticket and have their butts in the stands.
It's one thing to have shirts for other universities. It's another thing to wear them on Tech facilities. I know this, you had better not wear a hat for any university other than Tech if you use the baseball facilities. Coach Sim will make you take it off.

I like the ULL bumper sticker idea the best, living in Lafayette they have a large dislike especially among ULL students for lsu. If it worked down here it can work in Ruston maybe make some shirts.

"If you love THEM so much, go to B.R. - This is BULLDAWG Country"

Could be used all across N. Louisiana.

Some people would feel very rewarded with that. I don't want anything lsu pointed out at a game.

Now there's an idea!!! Remember the gun amnesty programs in a few cities where you trade your gun for something non-lethal??

Have a LSU gear amnesty day at the book store! Trade in your LSU gear for TECH gear. Keep all of the LSU crap and use in a bon fire for the Tech LSU pep rally!!
