you cannot, under any circumstances, use replay to challenge a flag. the flag was thrown for an illegal formation -- which replay confirmed, by the way -- and the refs go to the replay to see if hester gets a td. when they come back from the replay, it's conveniently no flag on the play. that's so ridiculous.
and tuberville deserved to lose for not challenging that spot. murphy came up a full yard short of the first down! i mean, when he stood up, after crawling forward, he still wasn't at the first-down marker. then, boom, the ref spots the ball three inches past the first down. ridiculous! there were several spots that were questionable in that game.
let's call a spade a spade. miles gets lucky sometimes. heaving it toward the end zone on the last play was the dumbest move ever. but he got lucky. if that play doesn't work -- and all that needed to happen was the db, who had great coverage, turning his head and making a play on the ball! -- then the tigers lose and their national title hopes are gone. but it goes back even further. they set the ball up in the middle of the field for colt david to kick a game-winning fg, then inexplicably throw a screen pass back out to the hash mark, right after running the ball to the middle of the field. then, they let the clock tick and tick and tick before throwing for the end zone. if the db makes a play on the ball, there's a good likelihood the clock runs out and the tigers lose! wow. i'm convinced that lsu will lose another game before the season is over, proobably to alabama. and it's because miles simply can't manage a game.
