    We need Cowpoke to keep up with his pitch count. I don't think Wade will like hearing that one of his future arms is being abused.

    I've said this before, but I don't think he's as good a pitcher as he is a hitter. I've seen him play several times, and he can swing it. And this wasn't against weak 1A pitching. Glad he's having a great year and he's dominating, but I doubt he's actually throwing 88-90.

    He should be alright for now, just concerned about the playoffs. Big arms are what carry you, and that is Williams in a nutshell. He is definately a fighter and wants the baseball.

    Most all of us wanted lots of stuff that wasn't good for us when we were 18.

    Didn't mean to offend, just being realistic. Pitching is very thin after your top guy at most small schools. Hell, that's the case at some big schools too, though.

    No doubt, we got beat, back in the day, by a team with 2 pitching studs in the State Champ. game. We only had 1 horse and he was give out.
